Administration & Coordination Support

My standard rate for administrative and coordination support is $50/hour

Newsletters • Podcasts • Editorial Support

I provide writing, research, newsletter production, podcast support, and other editorial services at the rates listed below.

$60/hour — newsletters, podcasts, editorial services, writing, research, show notes, and content planning
$70/hour — substantive, stylistic, or developmental editing

Retainers

For clients who need ongoing, multi-project support, monthly retainers (5-20 hours) are available at my standard rate.

Rush work

I generally do not take on rush projects, which I define as those requiring a turnaround time shorter than 48 hours from the time I receive your deposit. If I’m able to accommodate a rush request, my rate is double the regular rate that would apply.

Note: Rates are in Canadian dollars and do not include the Canadian Goods and Services Tax, which will be added to your invoice.

Payment Types and Policies

For new clients, I require a 50% deposit based on the estimated project cost. This must be received before I begin work. For returning clients with a record of timely payment, the deposit is 25%.

Please note: I do not accept cheques.

Other Terms

I work remotely (virtually) and am usually based in Vancouver, BC (Pacific time).

If we decide to work together, I will send you a contract outlining the terms and conditions of the project. I will need to receive a signed copy from you before beginning work and will provide you with a countersigned copy.
