Delegate Me Services

Rates and Payment

Rates

  • My standard rate for basic administrative services is $50/hr.
  • For editing, my rates start at $60/hour for copy editing and proof-reading. For projects that mainly require stylistic, substantive or developmental editing, my rate is $70/hour.
  • Sometimes clients have projects that require technical or more advanced skills, or that will require combination of various skills. I’m very happy to work on these types of projects, but I will need some information about the project in order to provide you with an estimate.
  • I can accept only a very limited number of rush jobs, which I define as those with a turnaround time shorter than 48 hours (from the time I receive your deposit). My rate for rush jobs is ($ rush rate).
  • Rates are provided in Canadian dollars. They do not include the Canadian Goods and Services Tax, which will be added to your invoice/s.

Please book a short, free, exploratory call with me to discuss your needs. This will enable me to better understand your project and then provide you with a cost estimate. You can book a 15-minute slot on my calendar here.

Payment Types and Policies

If we are new to working together, I require an up-front deposit of 50% of the estimated total. I will need to receive this before I can begin work on your project. For clients where we have an established working relationship and history of on-time payments, the up-front deposit is 25%.

Accepted forms of payment

  • Interac e-transfer
  • PayPal
  • Credit card

Note: I don’t accept payment by cheque.
